BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
IN THE ST ATE OF INDIANA
ORDINANCE NO. 2007-0R- 4/"
AN ORDINANCE ASSIGNING NEWLY ANNEXED
TERRITORY TO COUNCIL DISTRICT FIVE
WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville pursuant to I.C. 36-4-6-
4 shall assigned annexed territory to a city council district;
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville previously annexed certain territory now
designated as Jeffersonville Precinct 24C;
WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville has determined that
Jeffersonville Precinct 24C shall be assigned to city council district five;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL FOR
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, that Jeffersonville Precinct 24C as
designated by the Clark County Clerk is hereby assigned to city council district five effective
immediately.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL FOR THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA that the Clerk-Treasurer shall send a certified copy of this
ordinance to the Clark County Clerk upon passage.
