MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
JULY 3, 2007
'Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll .those members present were:
Fire Chief Miles sitting in for Councilperson Perkins and Engineer Miller.
Also present were: IT Director Hardy, Animal ,Shelter Director Wilder, Vehicle Maintenance Director
Drury, Planning and Zoning Director Hicks; Redevelopment Director Cahill, and Deputy Clerk
Mayfield.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Fire Chief Miles and
carried unanimously.
''' i Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the'minutes of 6-13-07, 6-20-07, and 6-27-07 as
presented, seconded by Fire Chief Miles and carried unanimously.
FIRE TRUCK BID APPROVAL-
', Engineer Miller made the motion to approve purchasing two new fire trucks from Global
Manufacturing, seconded by Fire Chief Miles and carried unanimously. The trucks will be
'purchased for $914,600.00.. Equipment for the trucks will be $150,000.00.
WIRING BIDS-
IT Director Hardy is obtaining bids for wiring for the new fire stations.
There being no further discussion to come before. the Board, Engineer Miller made the
motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:02 a.m.,'seconded by Fire Chief Miles and carried
unanimously.
