JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY
MINUTES
July 24,2007
A regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority was held
Tuesday July24, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the second floor conference room at
The Jeffersonville City Hall.
Members present were Building Commissioner Russ Segraves, President
Gary Johnson, Keith Stayton and John Perkins
Staff present: Redevelopment Director Barry Cahill, City Attorney Les
Merkley and Mary Frey.
. Others present: Consultants Jack Waldrip and Rick Maynard.
Aporoval of Minutes:
Russ Segraves made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 10, 2007
meeting, with the correction of meeting dates from the June 26 minutes for
August meeting dates to be August 14 and 28th, seconded by Keith Stayton
and carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Les Merkley gave an update on final payment to E.H. Construction. The
Board of Public Works and Safety and The Redevelopment Commission
still need to approve.
New Business:
Russ Segraves presented claims for Kentuckiana Comfort Center
($425.00), Johnson Control ($353.00), Cousins Cleaning ($3200.00) and
Estopinal Group ($808.00 & $267.00). Gary made a motion to pay Johnson
Control and Cousins Cleaning and to deny Kentuckiana Comfort and
Estopinal Group seconded by John Perkins and carried unanimously.
Russ Segraves stated that Heartland Payment System in Youngstown
Center has offered a generator to the City at no charge. John Perkins will
Check to see if the City can utilize.

Gary Johnson stated that his appointment to The Building Authority
expires August 7,2007 and he has no interest in being reappointed.
With no further discussion John Perkins made a motion to adjourn at
10:20 a.m. seconded by Gary Johnson and carried unanimously.
