HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-05-2006 MINUTES OF THE SANITARY SEWER BOARD OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE . December 5, 2006 The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's Conference room in the City Hall, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 5th day of December, 2006. Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 3:05p.m. Board Members Jeffrey Caldwell and was present. Also present were Mike Meyer, Jorge Lanz, Mark Sneve, Matt Rueff, Bob Miller and R. Scott Lewis. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Bill Saegesser, passing unanimously. The claims were presented to the board for approval. Bob Miller hand carried one additional claim for approval for Elise Jackson in the amount of $440.00. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the claims with one additional, seconded by M Bill Saegesser, passing unanimously. Scott Lewis addressed the board regarding the sewer back at Morris Avenue which is a rental property for Carlene Bottorff. Scott believes after speaking with Mike Meyer it was a city line and the city is responsible. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to table the request to pay the claim until they receive the actual dollar amount, seconded by Bill Saegesser, passing unanimously. Mike Meyer addressed the board regarding the Electrical Cost and Power Share Program Savings. Mike advised the board that the total amount saved with Duke Energy through the Powershare Program was $12,578.00. Per the agreement the City shares the credit 50% with EMC. Mike advised that also per the agreement EMC would reimburse the City $544.04 for exceeding the Electrical Cap. Jeffrey Caldwell moved approve the payment of $5,711.96 to EMC for the 50% Powershare and the difference EMC would owe the City on the electrical cap, seconded by Bill Saegesser, passing unanimously. Jorge Lanz presented the JTL Status Report. Jorge Lanz presented the Quest Status Report on behalf of Steve Kizer. Matt Rueff presented the Monthly Progress Report. Mark Sneve presented the Summary of Ongoing Public Works Projects. The board discussed changing the next meeting so that the bids can be reviewed and action taken. The board will have an Executive Session on December 21 st at 1 :00 p.m. with the Sewer Board Meeting at 3:00p.m. on December 21st.
