OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
JUNE 20, 2007
Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present were:
Councilperson Perkins and City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: IT Director Hardy, Police Officer Morlan, Asst. Fire Chief Decker, Animal Shelter
Director Wilder, Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, Building Commissioner Segraves, City Attorney
Merkley, Asst. Parks Director Couts, Personnel Director Calabro, Planning and Zoning Director Hicks,
Redevelopment Director Cahill, and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
City Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Councilperson
Perkins and carried unanimously.
KELLY'S FILMWORKS
Gina Hughes asked the Board's approval to close the street from Appleby's to Riverwalk on
June 28th and June 29th for filming along Spring Street. After some discussion Councilperson
Perkins made the motion to approve the request, seconded by City Engineer Miller and
carried unanimously.
KEN ELLIS CENTER PAY REQUEST
Councilperson Perkins made the motion to approve Draw #8 in the amount of $ 134,661.68
on the Ken Ellis Center to Kevco Construction LLC. , seconded by Engineer Miller and
carried unanimously.
PAYMENT TO ESTOPINAL GROUP ON KEN ELLIS CENTER
Councilperson Perkins made the motion to approve payment after repairs are completed to
the Estopinal Group for professional services on the Ken Ellis Center in the amount of
$551.14, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board, Councilperson Perkins made the
motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 a.m., seconded by Engineer Miller and carried
unanimously.
