RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 89-R-25
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, did on September 5, 1989, adopt Resolution No. 89-R-25 (A
Resolution Declaring An Area
Area); and
WHEREAS, said Resolution
To Be An Economic Revitalization
did limit the deduction for new
manufacturing equipment to a period of five (5) years from the date
of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, has determined that in order to induce the current
property owner to invest in a major expansion which will create
additional employment, Resolution 89-R-25 should be amended to
extend the period for new manufacturing equipment to ten (10)
years, the same as improvements to real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City .of Jeffersonville, Indiana, does hereby amend Resolution No.
89-RL25, dated September 5, 1989, to provide for the deduction for
new manufacturing equipment to a period of ten (10) years from
September 5, 1989, instead of five (5) years; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall be
filed with the Auditor of Clark County.
