August 23, 2004
The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the
Commissioner's Conference room in the City County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 23rd
day of August, 2004.
Jack Jordan called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m.. Board Member Jeffrey Caldwell was present.
Jorge Lanz, Tim Cmwford, Bob Miller, Mark Sneve, Robert Miller, Les Merkley and Larry Wilder
were also present.
Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Jack Jordan, passing
unanimously.
The claims were presented to the board for approval. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the claims
as presented, seconded by Jack Jordan passing unanimously.
Chau Ngo, of 3611 Sawgrass of Elk Pointe Subdivision, addressed the board regarding a sewer
back-up on June 28th. EMC responded to the call and Tim Crawford was aware of the situation and
has pictures of the incident. However, he was not aware this case would be discussed today and did
not bring the documents. Bob Miller advised the board there was an obstruction in the line. Mr.
Ngo's damages were for a total of $7,283.68. The board advised Mr. Ngo they would confer with
the City Attorney and contact him.
Mark Sneve presented the Review of EMC WWTP operations for the month of June.
Mark Sneve presented the Review of EMC CSS Operation for the months of May through June.
John Toombs presented the Status Report.
Robert Miller presented the June 2004 Financial Statement.
Meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
