A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF INSIGHT COMMUNICATIONS
COMPANY'S CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE AND
MAINTAIN A CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM WITHIN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
WHEREAS, Insight Communications Company, L.P., has heretofore been assigned a
franchise to operate a cable television system in the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, specifically,
the Franchise Contract dated August 26, 1970; and
VqHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to extend the term of said Franchise Contract in
order to complete the Franchise Contract renewal process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board~ofPublic Works and Safety
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the Franchise Contract dated August 26, 1970 be
extended until February 26, 1997 or until completion of the Franchise Contract renewal,
whichever is earlier.
