A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A WRITTEN FISCAL
PLAN ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE
PROVISION OF SERVICES TO AN ANNEXED AREA
(Aberdeen Place)
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville desires to annex an area contiguous and adjacent to the
corporate limits of the City of Jeffersonville, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, state law requires adoption of a fiscal plan and a definite policy for the provision of
services to annexed areas; and
WHEREAS, such plan entitled "Fiscal Plan for Aberdeen Place" is attached as Exhibit "B" and
incorporated herein by reference; and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON couNcIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVlLLE, CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA, THAT:
1. The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, hereby
approves and adopts the "Fiscal Plan for Aberdeen Place Annexation Area", which
Plan is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "B", and hereby approves
and adopts the specific policies for implementation of the Plan as set out therein;
2. Any monies necessary for the provision of services as described and itemized in the
attached Plan shall be budgeted and appropriated from the applicable fund,
pursuant to state law and the City's budget procedure;
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, State

Being a part of Survey #12 of the Illinois Grant to Clark County, Indiana and being further described as
follows:
Beginning at the north comer of said Survey #12; Thence S.40°E., along the line dividing Surveys #12 and
# 13, 2/516.7 feet to the north comer ora tract of land described in Deed Drawer 29, Instrument 19150 of said County
records, THE TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING:
Thence continuing S.40°E., along said dividing line, 663.4 feet to the east comer of said tract;

SURVEY
FISCAL PLAN FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF
THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS PROPERTY
INTO THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVlLLE
Within one year of the effective date of the proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit
A, attached hereto and incorporated herein (the "Aberdeen Place Property"), the City of Jeffersonville
(the "City") will provide the following non-capital services to Aberdeen Place in a manner equivalent in
standard and scope to the same services the City currently provides to other areas within its
corporate boundaries:
Police Protection - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide police protection to Aberdeen Place.
Fire Protection - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide fire protection to Aberdeen Place.
Sanitation Services - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide sanitation services to the Aberdeen Place Property.
Street and Road Maintenance Services -The City will incur only a
minimal marginal increase in cost to provide street and road maintenance
services. Any additional cost will be recovered from the increase in funds the
City will receive from the State Local Roads and Streets Fund a~ributable to the
additional road mileage represented by any streets developed On the Aberdeen Place
Property.
Within three years of the effective date of the proposed annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein (the "Aberdeen Place Property"), the City of
Jeffersonville (the "City") will provide the following capital services to the Aberdeen Place Property in
a manner equivalent in standard and scope to the same services the City currently provides to other
areas within its corporate boundaries:
Sewer Facilities - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide sewer service to the Aberdeen Place Property, as the owner/
developer of the Aberdeen Place Property will construct the necessary
connecting sewer lines to an existing interceptor.
Water Facilities - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide water service to the Aberdeen Place Property, as the
owner/developer will construct the necessary connecting water
lines to an existing Indiana-American water line.
Street ConstruCtion - The City will not incur any additional cost to
construct streets on the Aberdeen Place Property. The owner/developer
will construct the only necessary street on the Aberdeen Place Property.
Street Lighting - The City will not incur any additional cost to provide street
lighting for the Aberdeen Place Property, as the owner/developer will install the
necessary street lighting.
