HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-R-06 RESOLUTION NO. 01-R-6 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING LIST OF INJURIOUSLY AND/OR BENEFICIALLY AFFECTED INTERESTS IN CONDEMNED PROPERTY AND ESTABLISHING DAMAGES WHEREAS, on August 6, 2001 the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Jeffersonville (the "Board") adopted a resolution condemning the real property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, Indiana Code 32-1 i-1.5 et seq. requires that the Board prepare a list of all the owners of the condemned property; and WHEREAS, Indiana Code 32-11-1.5-5 requires that the Board award damages sustained by said owners and holders of interests and serve written notice showing the amount of the award; and WHEREAS, the written notices must name a date the Board will receive or hear remonstrances; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that Robert and Helen Pendygraft are the owners of the property described in Exhibit A. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that Robert A. And Helen L. Pendygraft have sustained, and are awarded, total damages in the amount of $7,500.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board will receive and hear remonstrance's with regard to the amount of the damage awards at its 9:30 a.m. meeting on October 1, 2001, and the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby instructed to serve personal notice upon Robert A. and Helen L.
