WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Jeffersonville (the "Board") desires to appropriate and condemn, for the use of the mun/cipality, the real estate described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and kncorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the real estate described in Exhibit A, may be injuriously and/or beneficially affected by the condenmation; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board hereby appropriates and condemns for the use of the City of Jeffersonville (the "City") the real estate described in Exhibit A; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk-Treasurer shall publish notice of this Resolution in the Evening News once each xveek for the next two (2) consecutive weeks; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board shall receive and hear remonstrance from persons interested in, or affected by, this condemnation at its regularly-scheduled meeting on January 28, 2002, and then take final action, confmrfi-ng, modifying, or rescinding its original resolution.
