Home My WebLink About2006-OR-37A ORDINANCE NO. 2006-0R- 37 A BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2006-0R-37 (AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-0R-40 EST ABLISHING AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPAL PURCHASING AGENCY) WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006-0R-37 amending Ordinance No. 98-0R-40 and designating the Clerk-Treasurer as the city purchasing agency; and WHEREAS, the Common Council desires to delay the effective date of Ordinance No. 2006-0R-37; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council that Ordinance No. 2006-0R-37 shall be amended as to make the effective date of said ordinance upon the adoption of an ordinance implementing a purchasing order system or December 31, 2006, whichever occurs first.
