AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
wHEREAS, an application was properly filed with the ~effersonville Plan Commission
by FIRST SAVINGS BANK, for rezoning from R-1 (Low Density Residential) to C-1 (Small to
Medium Scale General Commercial) certain real estate located in the County of Clark, City of
Jeffersonville, the legal description of which is more specifically described as follows:
LOT NO. 52 IN "MELLWOOD" SUBDIVISION, A PLAT OF WHICH IS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK NO. 6 AT PAGE 173 IN -/HE OFFICE OF
THE RECORDER OF CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA.
COMMON ADDRESS: 2207 Allison Lane,Jeffersonville, IN 47130

WHEREAS, the time and place of the meeting for the Plan Commission were properly
noticed and advertised for a meeting to take place on January 25, 2005 ar 6:00 'clock p.m. at the
City-County Building in the Assembly Room on the third floor, Jeffersonville, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission members present and voting on January 25, 2005 at
the hour scheduled and noticed for said meeting, unanimously voted to approve said rezoning
application and to recommend to the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville the Zoning
Ordinance of Jeffersonville, Indiana, as now written, be amended to provide for said rezoning.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, that the Zoning Ordinance of Jeffersonville, Indiana, be, and
hereby is amended such that the zoning map of the City of Jeffersonv431e shall hereafter indicate
the real estate located at 2207 Allison Lane, Jeffersonville, Indiana and identified above in
Jeffersonville, Indiana, which is more particularly described as:
LOT NO. 52 IN "MELLWOOD' SUBDIVISION, A PLAT OF WHICH IS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK NO. 6 AT PAGE 173 IN THE OFFICE OF
THE RECORDER OF CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA.
COMMON ADDRESS: 2207 Allison Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130

is hereby rezoned from R-1 to C-1.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER PROPOSED CHANGE OF ZONING MAP
Notice is hereby given that on February 7, 2005 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the Multi-
Purpose Hearing Room on the Third Floor of the City-County Building at 501 East Court
Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, intends to consider an ordinance, which, if adopted, would change the zoning
map designation of the following described property from RI: Low Density Residential
to C 1: Small to Medium Scale General Commercial.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
PROPERTY ADDRESS: Lot 52 in Melwood Subdivision being
located at 2207 Allison Lane
The Jeffersonville Plan Commission made a favorable recommendation
concerning the adoption of an ordinance enacting this proposed change of zoning map
designation after notice and hearing on January 25, 2005. All interested persons are
invited to attend and be heard regarding this matter. This Jeffersonville Common
Council meeting may be continued from time to time as found necessary. The
Jeffersonville Common Council may take official action ar the conclusion of debate a~
this meeting.
