AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2005-OR-52, WHICH AMMENDS
ORDINANCE 2005-OR-43, WHICH AMMENDED ORDINANCE 2005-OR-25, WHICH
AMMENDED ORDINANCE 2005-OR-1, WHICH AMMENDED THE ORGINIAL
ORDINANCE 2004-OR-64, FIXING BASIC SALARIES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVlLLE, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE,

per hour for full-time employees excluding temporary help.
The City will pay the 3% employee share of P.E.R.F. for civilian employees and will
pay 3% of the employee share of the Police and Fire Pension assessments,

Dear Mr. Hicks:
The Office of Career Services is pleased to partner with you for this
Internshi 3 experience. This partnership program exists to promote
employment of Indiana University Southeast students in this geographic
area with the goal of retaining them as residents of the state of Indiana
upon graduation from IU Southeast. We are excited to partner with your
agency in this endeavor,

Internship Student: Jordan Blanton
Position Title: Planning Intern
Beginning Date: September 6. 2005
Ending Date: December 9 2005 (14 weeks of employment)
Hourly Rate: $8.29
Hours per Week: 20
Total Dollars Earned: $2321.10
Total FICA @ (7.65%~: $ 177.57
Subtotal: $2498.67
Total dollar amount to be paid to the student intern: $2498.67
The student intern should be paid on a weekly or biweekly basis. The
student will be considered an employee of The City of Jeffersonville and be
subject to all of the policies of The City of Jeffersonville.
Indiana University Southeast will forward a check sent by an anonymous
donor to The City of Jeffersonville shortly after the signing and approval of
these forms. Any unspent balance from this check must be returned to the

university within one month of the end of the student's internship program
with the agency.
The agency will supervise the student's internship and will require that time
sheets be kept for all hours worked by the student. The student, the
agency, and Career Services will each receive a copy of the time sheets on
a weekly or biweekly basis.
For the agency tc receive funds at the beginning of the internship period,
the agency must accept the above agreement and must provide the
university with an invoice on agency letterhead for the amount of funds as
stipulated in the agreement.
A Purchase Order number will be assigned after all signatures are received.
