HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-OR-68SINGLE FAMILY ORDINANCE NO. 2004-OR- 68 AMENDING 150.046 BUILDING PERMIT FEES RESIDENTIAL AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURES PERMIT FEES Fees for the issuance of nhe various Single Family Dwelling permits provided for by this code, and for various kinds of conssrucsion work and inspec5ions shall be as follows: (1) Building permit fees: (A For all consnrucnlon, addinlons and alterations the permit fee shall be s .08 per square foon. Square footage shall be calculated by the extreme outside dimensions of the strucnure no include all stories, basemenns, decks, porches and occupiable a~nlcs. The minimum building permln fee is ~35.00. (2) B C) Foundation only permits fees shall be s35.00. Manufactured or Modular built home shall be s .08 per square foot as calculated in (A above. minimum permit fee is S35.00. MISCELLAiTEOUS SINGLE FAMILY PEAMITS (1) Install or replace fence $35.00. (2) Swimming pools a. Above ground pool with a water depth of 42" or greater $35.00. b. Below ground pool $75.00. (3) Wrecking permit $ .02 per square feet of building area. minimum permit fee is $35.00. (4)Certificate of Occupancy for new construction, and alterations $25.00. (5) Improvement location permit $25.00. The additions, 2 COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL AND MULTI-FAMILY BUILDING AND STRUCTURES Fees for the issuance o.f various Commercial/Industrial and multi-family provided for by this code, and various kinds of construction work and ilnspections shall be as follows: (1) Building permit fees: (A) For all new construction, tenant development, additions and alterations the permit fee shall be $ .15 per square foot. Square footage shall be calculated by the extreme outside dimensions of the structure to include all stories, basements, decks, balconies and canopies. The minimum building permit fee is $35.00. (B) (C) (D) (E) F'oundation only permits shall be $100.00. Indiana Modular Building permits shall be $.15 per square foot. The minimum permit fee is $50.00. Shell only permits shall be $ .08 as calculated above. The minimum permit fee is $50.00. Construction that square footage cannot be determined shall be $5.00 per $1,000.00 of estimated building cost. The minimum permit fee shall be $50.00. (2) Electrical permit fees: (A) New or replaced service $ .75 per amp. (1 3 (3) Plumbing permit fees: (Al Installation of new work $50.00 for the first fixture plus $5.00 for each additional fixture. The minimum permit fee is $85.00. (B) Water heater replacement $50.00. (C) Alterations to the existing plumbing system $50.00 (1 inspection). (D) Indiana modular or mobile $50.00. (E) Additional inspections or inspections not covered above $35.00 (4) Mechanical Permit Fees (A) Installation or replacement of a warm air gas, electric, or solid fuel heating unit $50.00. (B) InstallationI of air conditioning equipment $10.00 per ton up to 50 tons $8.00 for each ton over 50 tons. The minimum permit fee is $50.00. (C) Install or replace a refrigeration/chiller $50.00. (D) Low pressure boiler with a maximum pressure of 15 pound per square inch for steam and 160 pounds per square inch for water permit fee is $50.00. (G) Install or replace a gas fired incinerator $50.00. (H) Install or replace a kitchen exhaust hood $35.00. (I) Install or replace a commercial clothes dryer $35.00. (J) Additional inspections or inspections not covered above $35.00. (6) Fire Protection System Permit Fees 4 (A) New automanlc sprinkler systems $100.00 plus $ .25 per sprinkler head. (B) AlteratIons to an automatic sprinkler system $50.00 plus s .25 per sprinkler head. (C) Kitchen range hood suppression system $35.00. (D) (E) Fire alarm syssem $50.00 for the first 10,000 square Feet plus S15.00 for each additional 20,000 square feet or frac5ion thereof. Other 5ype of chemical suppression system. $50,00 (F) Standpipe only $35.00 per riser. (6) Flanunable and Combustible Liquid Storage Tanks And Dispenser Fees Tanks up to 300 gallon capacity $50.00. Tanks 301 gallon up to 1,00 gallon capacity $65.00. Tanks 1,001 ~o 25,000 gallon capacity $85.00. Tanks over 25,000 gallon capacity $100.00. In addition to the tank each dispenser shall be $35.00 (7) Wrecking permit fee $ .03 per square foot of building area. The minimum permit fee is $.50.00. (8) Swimming pool permit $100.00. {9) Cell tower or antenna permit $500.00. (10) Signs $15.00 base fee plus $ .50 per square foot. The minimum permit fee is $25.00. {11) Tents, canopies and other membrane structures regulated by the International Fire Code $25.00. 5 (12) Moving permit fee shall be $300.00. (13) Install or replace fence $35.00 for the first 100 lineal feet plus $10.00 for each additional 50 feet or fractiqn thereof. (14) Certificate of Occupancy for new construction, additions, alt;erations, tenant space and dwelling unit $35.00 each. (15) Improvement location permit $25.00 These fees shall replace any and all previously adopted permit fees This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on January 1, 2005.
