SENATE BILL DIGEST
This bill ainends an act concerning the transfer and convey-
ance of school property by eliminating the provisions that thc
act applied only in cities having a population of not less than
thirty-five thousand and not more than thirty-seven thousand.

A BILL FOB AN ACT ro amend an acl concerning the transfer
and conveyance of school properw belonging to ccrtah~
school cities, and ~o amend the title of said act.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of
I~lia~a :
SECTION 1. Acts 1951. c. 146. s. 1 is amended to read
2 as follows: Sec. 1. The common council of any city
3 ..... may adopt an ordinance authorizing the board of
4 ~rus~ees of the school city of such city, to convey by deed
5 executed by the members of such boa~'d, any school property
6 by it owned to such civil city, for civic p~rposes, after
7 the adoption of a resolution by the board of school trustees
8 of such city, recommending the transfer and conveyance

Engrossed Senate Bill No. 368, has had the same under con-
sideration and begs leave to report the same back to the House
with the recommendatiou that sald bill be amended as follows:
Section 2, line 4, strike out the words "of a civic city".
