WHEREAS, heretofore on the~ day of ~L~ ' , 1969, at
a regular meeting of the COmmon coUncil of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the Court Room of the Court House of
said City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 1st
day of December, 1969, at' 7:30 P.M., at the Court House in said
City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an ordinance making an appropriation
from the various funds h~reinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meebing in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the COmmon Council
of the City of jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriations hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
' 'Section 1.
That the emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the 'following:
An additional appropriation from the Redevelopment Department
non-reverting fund in the amount of $900.00 for paving of the
alley between Spring and Pearl Streets in the 100 block of
the City.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 1st day of December, 1969.
