An Ordinance authorizing an additional appropria-
tion from the General Fund to 9215 Special Counsel
in the amount of $1,000.00
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of June, 1970, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the 'City-County Building in said City,'the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 6th day of July, 1970, at
7:30 P. M., at the City-County Building in said City as the time and
place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of
considering and determining whether an emergency exists for the
passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the various
funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriation
hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
S~c~ion 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
An additional appropriation from the General Fund
to ~215 Special Counsel in the amount of $1,000.00.
Section '2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 6th day of July, 1970.
