An Ordinance Authorizing the Conveyance of
Land for Highway purposes To the State of
Indiana, Pursuant to Sectzon 2, Chapter !80
of the Acts of 1959 of the General Assembly
of the State of Indiana.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section i.
That the Mayor and the Clerk Treasurer of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, be, and they hereby are, authorized to
convey to the State of Indiana pursuant ~o the authority given mn
Section 2, Chapter 180, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
the State of Indiana for the year of 1959, the fctlowing described
real estate in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana,
uo-wit:
A part of Blocks 14, 15 and 22 zn The City Of Jeffersonville~
Indiana, as recorded on C. R. Milne's Plat of Jeffersonvilte
in Plat Book 3, Page 17 in The Office Of The Recorder Of
Clark County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning
on the South Line of Lot 16 ~n said Block 14 South 85
Degrees 20 minutes 20 seconds East 30.00 feet from the
Southwest corner of said lot~ which said point is on the
North Boundary of Market Street; Thence North 85 Degrees
20 Minutes 20 seconds West 352.00 feet along said North

Boundary of a 20-Foot alley.

a part of Broadway Street in the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, as shown on C. R. Mzlne Plan of jeffersonville,
which Plat is Recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 17 in the Office
of the Recorder of Clark County; Indiana, described as
follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot l,
which corner is the intersecsion of the North Boundary of
Market (Second) Street and the West Boundary of a 20-Foo~
alley; Thence North 85 DeTrees 20 Minutes 20 Seconds West
318.50 Feet along said North Boundary tc the Southwest
corner of said Lot 16, said corner bein~ the intersection
of the North Boundary of Market Street and the East Boundary
of a 20-Foot alley; Thence North 4 Degrees 39 Minutes 40 Seconds
East 5.00 Feet alonq the East Boundary of said alley; Thence

more or less.
Together with the permanen5 extinguishmenn of all rights and
easements of ingress and egress ~o, from, and across the limited
acess facility (to be known as Market Street and as Prcject ST-
111811) to and ~rom the owner's lands abutting the above-described
real estate. This restriction shall be a covenant running with
the land and shall be binding on all successors in title no the
said abutting lands.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
