WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of October, 1973, at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 5th day of November, 1973, at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building, in said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the fund hereinafter set out, and WH~B~S, the Clerk-Treasurer has place and purpose of said meeting in and given notice of the time, the manner prescribed by law, WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro- priation hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated: NOW, THEREFORE, BE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON INDIANA: Section 1. is COUNCIL OF THE and hereby Sharing Fund in of cleaning drainage That an emergency exists and that there shall be appropriated the following: A special appropriation from the Revenue the amount of $20,000.00 for the purpose ditches. An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property from I-2, General Industry to R-2, Residential. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer- sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described be reclassified and rezoned as follows: From I-2, General Industry to R-2, Residential: Being part of Survey 11 of the Illinois Grant, Clark County, State of Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Survey No. the True Point of Beginning; thence S. 35° 25' E. 747.40 feet to a point in the westerly right-of-way line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; thence with said right-of-way line N. 22° 53' E. 1280.40 feet to a point; thence leaving said right-of-way line on a line bearing N. 35© 25' W. 65.0 feet to a point in the line between said Survey Ho. 11 and Surveys 20 and 21; thence.;with said line S. 54© 53' W., 1089.0 feet to a point, the True Point of Beginning, containing 10.105 acres, more or less.
