HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-OR-07ORDINANCE NO. 79-0R-~ An ordinance Authorizing the Exchange of Real Estate WHEREAS, ~he City of jeffersonville, by and through its Corm~on Council and the jeffersonville Optimist club in an endeavor to make provision for certain rights exchange of property, and WHEREAS, it was at the time of way and easements agreed to an agreed that the Optimist Club would provide proper surveys and plats and WHEREAS, such Optimist club has now caused to be prepared proper s~rveys, pla~s and descriptions of the real estate to be exchanged, NOW, THEREFORE, BE ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA: Section 1. That the Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to convey to the jeffersonville Optimist Club the real estate des- cribed in Exhibit "A" and marked on the plat of the r~al estate involved in the color red upon receipt as a consideration for such conveyance a deed from the Optimist club to the City of jeffersonville of the real estate described in Exhibit "B" hereof and indicated on the plat of the real estate involved in th~ color brown. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. February, 1979.
