R-2 Multi Family Residenct to B-2 Service Business,
and Unclassified Real Estate to B-2 Service Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonvlle,
Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be
amended in that the property herein described is reclassified and
rezoned as follows:
From R-2 Multi Family Residenc~ to B-2 Service Business.
Parcel 1
A part of Survey No. 12 of the Illinois Grant in
Jeffersonvil!e Township of Clark County, Indiana,
being a part of the same land conveyed to Elmer F.
Mull and Emma C. Mull at Deed Drawer ~1, Instrument
97543 and bounded as follows:
Commencing at an iron pipe in the northwesterly line
of Seminole Drive which marks the south corner of Lot
No. 24 of Indian Hills Subdivision (Plat Book No. 6,
Page 220), thence the following courses:
North 40 deg. 00 min. West, 120.0 feet with the
southwesterly line of said Lot No. 24 to an iron pin
which is the true place of beginning.
Thence the following courses of the boundary:
South 50 deg. 09 min. West, 423.70 feet with Charles
J. Pryor's line (Deed Record 192, Page 103) to an
iron pin in the northeasterly line of Allison Lane;
North 39 deg. 32 min. West, 100.00 feet with the line
of Allison Lane to an iron pin; North 50 deg. 09 min.
East, 422.89 feet to an iron pin ~n the southwesterly
line of Lot No. 23 of said Indian Hills Subdivision;
South 40 deg. 00 min. East, 100.00 feet with the line
of said Lot No. 23 to the true place of beginning and
containing 0.97 acres of land.
Being all of the same land conveyed to said Elmer F.
and Emma C. Mull at Deed Drawer ~1, Instrument ~7543,
except that portion thereof conveyed to Clark County,
Indiana, for the purpose of widening Allison Lane.

Being a part of Survey No. 12 of the I!~inois Grant
bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone at the
north corner of Survey No. 12 of the Illinois Grant;
thence South 40° 00' E. along the line dividing Surveys
Nos. 12 and 13, 1901.2 feet to a point; thence South
49~ 42' West, 1396.68 feet to the west corner of Lot
No. 22 of "Indian Hills", the true place of beginning;
thence continuing South 49° 42' West, 435.6 feet to a
point in the northeast line of Allison Lane; thence
South 40° 00' East along said line of Allison Lane
62.59 feet to a point; thence North 49° 42' East
435.6 feet to a point; thence North.40° 00' West
62.59 feet to the true place of beginning, containing/
0.63 acres, more or less. Being a part of the trac~
conveyed to William L. Sample and wife as shown in
Deed Record 232, page !5, in the Office of the Recorder
of Clark County, Indiana, and the description herein is
pursuant to a survey made by James E. Fust dated
November 13, 1962, and made for William L. Sample.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM, a part of Survey No. 12 of the
Illinois Grant in Jeffersonville Township of Clark
County, Indiana, being a part of the same 0.63 acre
.tract conveyed to Billy B. and Martha Rothrock at
Deed Record 283, Page 268, and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a spike at the intersection of the
centerline of Allison Lane and Middle Road, thence
the following courses: North 40~ West 3012.00 feet
with the centerline of said Allison Lane; North 50a
East, 15.00 .feet to the S~th corner of said Rothrock
tract which is also the West corner of a tract conveyed
to D.R. and T.O. Daniel at Deed.Record 279, Page 58,
which is the Northeast right-of-way line of Allison Lane
which is the true place of beginning. Thence the
following courses of the boundary: North 40" West,
62.59 feet with~said Northeast right-of-way line of
Allison Lane to the West corner of said Rothrock tract
which is in the Southeast line of a tract conveyed to
Ellen Ash at Deed Reocrd 84; Page 570; North 49· 42'
East, 10.00 feet with the Northwest line of said Roth-
rock tract which is the Southeast line of said Ash
tract to a point which is ten (10) feet at right angles
to the Northeast right-of-way line of Allison Lane;
South 404 East, 62.59 feet parallel to and twenty (20)
feet distant from said Northeast right-of-way line of
Allison Lane to a point in the Southeast line of said
Rothrock tract which is the Northwest line of said
Daniel tract, which is ten (10) feet at right angles
to the Northeast right-of-way line of Allison Lane;
South 490 42' West, 10.00 feet with said Southeast
line of said Rothrock tract which is the Northwest
line of said Daniel tract to the true place of beginning
and containing 0.014 acres or 625.90 S~ F. of land.
Being the same real estate conveyed to the grantors
herein by Deed dated April 1, 1975, recorded in Deed
Drawer 7, as Instrument No. 2550, in the Office.of
the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana.

Being a part of Survey No. 12 of the Illinois Grant
bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone at the North
corner of Survey No. 12 of the Illinois Grant; Thence
South 40~ 00' East, along the line dividing Surveys No.
12 and 13, 1901.2 feet to a point; thence South 49° 42'
West, 1396.68 feet to the West corner of Lot No. 22
of "Indian Hills"-; thence South 49" 00' East, 62.59
feet to the true place of beginning; thence continuing
South 40' 00' East, 60 feet to a point; thence South
49~' 42' West, 435.6 feet to a point in the Northeast
line of Allison Lane; thence North 40~ 00' West, along
said line of Allison Lane, 60 feet to a point; thence
North 49" 42' East, 435.6 feet to the true place of
begin~i~-g', containing 0.60 acres more or less, and
being a part of the tract conveyed to Wm. L. Sample
and wife as shown in Deed Record 232, Page 15, in the
Office of the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana.

913, ~14, 915 and part of a vacated alley in
Block ~20 in the City of jeffersonville, Clark
County, Indiana, at Illinois Avenue and 3rd Street.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
