A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A WRITTEN FISCAL
PLAN ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE
PROVISION OF SERVICES TO AN ANNEXED AREA
(L.R. Inman Annexation Area)
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville desires to annex an area contiguous and adjacent to the
corporate limits of the City of Jeffersonville, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, state law requires adoption of a fiscal plan and a definite policy for the provision of
services to annexed areas; and
WHEREAS, such plan entitled 'Fiscal Plan for L.R. Inman Annexation Area" is attached as Exhibit "B"
and incorporated herein by reference; and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVlLLE, CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA, THAT:
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, hereby
approves and adopts the "Fiscal Plan for L.R. Inman Annexation Area ", which Plan is
attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "B", and hereby approves and
adopts the specific policies for implementation of the Plan as set out therein;
Any monies necessary for the provision of services as described and itemized in the
attached Plan shall be budgeted and appropriated from the applicable fund, pursuant to
state law and the City's budget procedure;

FISCAL PLAN FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF
L.R. INMAN PROPERTY
Within one year of the effective date of the proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit
A, attached hereto and incorporated herein (the "L.R. Inman Property"), the City of Jeffersonville (the
"City") will provide the following non-capital services to the L. R. Inman Property in a manner
equivalent in standard and scope to the same services the City currently provides to other areas
within its corporate boundaries:
Police Protection - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide police protection to the L.R. Inman Property.
Fire Protection - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide fire protection to the L.R. Inman Property.
Sanitation Services - The City will not incur any additional-cost to
provide sanitation services to the L.R. Inman Property.
Street and Road Maintenance Services -The City will incur only a
minimal marginal increase in cost to provide street and road maintenance
services. Any additional cost will be recovered from the increase in funds the
City will receive from the State Local Roads and Streets Fund
attributable to the additional road mileage represented by any streets developed
on the L.R. Inman Property.
Within three years of the effective date of the proposed annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein (the "L.R. Inman Property', the City of
Jeffersonville (the "City") will provide the following capital services to the L. R. Inman Property in a
manner equivalent in standard and scope to the same services the City currently provides to other
areas within its corporate boundaries:
Sewer Facilities - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide sewer service to the L.R. Inman Property, as the owner/developer
of the L.R. Inman Property will construct the necessary connecting
sewer lines to an existing interceptor.
Water Facilities - The City will not incur any additional cost to
provide water service to the L.R. Inman Property, as the
owner/developer will construct the necessary connecting water
lines to an existing Indiana-American water line.
Street Construction - The City will not incur any additional cost to
construct streets on the L.R. Inman Property. The owner/developer will construct the
only necessary street on the L.R. Inman Property.
Street Lighting - The City will not incur any additional cost to provide street lighting for
the L.R. Inman Property, as the owner/developer will install the necessary street
lighting.
PETITION OF VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION
OF CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY
The L.R. Inman Builders, Inc., do hereby petition the City of Jeffersonville for voluntary
annexation into the City of the following tract, as described in Exhibit A incorporated
herein, which is contiguous with the existing city boundary.

monument on the north comer of said Survey No. 21, same being the west
comer of Survey No. 22, and in the line of Survey No. 34; thence S. 49 deg. 58'
44" W'. (Basis of Bearings), along the line dividing Survey Nos. 21 and 34,
1455.35 feet to a point in the centerline of the New Albany-Charlestown Pike;
thenceS. 55 deg. 33' 19" E., 1109.0 feet to an iron pipe in the centerline of the
Jeffersonville-Charlestown Pike; thence N. 14 deg. 32' 39" E., along said
centerline, 140.55 feet to an iron pin, THE TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING;

raikoad spike; thence S. 66 deg. 15' 17" E., 180.00 feet to an iron pin; thence
S. 12 deg. 21' 24" W., 241.06 feet to an iron pin; thence S. 49 deg. 40' 47" W.,
140.00 feet to an iron pin; thence N. 40 deg. 19' 13" W., 130.00 feet to THE
TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 1.361 acres, more or less.
