A Resolution Authorizing the Investment of Temoorarily
Surplus Funds.
WHEREAS, The Clerk-Treasurer has on hand in certain
accounts more funds than are currently necessary for the
immediate use of such accounts, and
WHEREAS, the Acts of the General Assembly of the State
of Indiana now provide for the temporary investment of such
funds.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of jeffersonville that the Clerk-Treasurer be, and he
hereby is, authorized to invest the followin~ sums from the
accountS, and for the time indicated.
From such accounts the Clerk-Treasurer finds that excess
money at the present time would be more beneficial to the
City of Jeffersonville to invest in Certificates of Deposit.
The time period for such should be left for the discretion
of the Clerk-Treasurer. Time for such investment would not
exceed January 1, 1984.
Adopted by the Connom Council of the City of Jeffersonville
Indiana this 3rd. day of ~January, 1983.
Presented by me as Clerk-Treasurer to the Mayor of the
City of Jeffersonville this 3rd day of January, 1983.
