occupancy because of a lack of development, cessation of
growth, deterioration of improvements or character cf
occupancy, age, obsolescence, substandard buildings, and
other factors that ha.ye impaired values and prevent a normal
development of property: and
WHEREAS, the c~mmon : Council is authorized b~' i~C.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE:

1. It is hereby found that the geographic area
the recommendation and Resolution of the
jeffersonville EcOnomic Development Commission c~mplies with
the definition and provisions of I.C. 36-7-12-2.
Section 2. The City of jeffersonville, pursuant to the
authority set forth in I.C. 36-7-12-38, hereby designates the
following specific geographic territory located within the
City of jeffersonville, Indiana, an Economic Development
Target Area, to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
Section 3. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after the date of this
Ordinance.
