A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT
OF TEMPORARILY DORMANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Clerk and TreasUrer has on hand in certain accounts more funds
than are curently necessary for the immediate use of such accounts, and,
WHEREAS, the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana now
provides for the temporary investment of such funds.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of
Jeffersonville, that the Clerk and Treasurer be, and is hereby authorized to invest the folloWing
sums from the accounts, and for the time indicated.
From such accounts the Clerk and Teasurer finds that excess money
at the present time would be more beneficial to the City of Jeffersonville
to invest as authorized by the State Board of Accounts.
The time period for such funds should be left for the discretion of the
Clerk and Treasurer. Time for such investments would not exceed
December 31, 2000.
