WHEREAS, the Common
after due consideration,
of the citizens thereof
Council of the City of jeffersonville,
believes that it is in the best interest
that the property commonly known as
Warder Park, more specifically described in Exhibit A attached
hereto, Should be transferred to the Parks and Recreation Department
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the Mayor of the
City of Jeffersonville and the Clerk-Treasurer, and the Board
of Public Works and Safety of the City of Jeffersonville take
such legal steps as are necessary to transfer such real estate
and improvements mentioned above to the Jeffersonville Parks
and
Recreation Department.
Duly adopted by the Common Council

Bein~ a part of Warder Park in the City of Je£fersonville, Clark County,
Indiana, and being further described as follows:
Beginning at a "PK" nail on the Southwest corner of Warder Park, same
being the Northeast corner of Sprin~ Street and Court Avenue;
Thence Northwardly along the East line of Spring Street 154 feet to a
point on the Southwest corner of a tract of land described in Deed Record
Book 268, Page 180 of said County Records;
Thence Eastwardly and parallel to Federal Avenue (fgrmerly Park Street)
130 feet to a point on the Southeast corner of said tract;
Thence Northwardly along the East line of said tract and parallel to
Spring Street 30 feet to a point;
Thence Eastwardly and parallel to Court Avenue 90.5 feet, more or less,
to anoint:
thence Southwardly and parallel to Wall Street 30 feet to a point;
Thence Eastwardly and parallel to Court Avenue 138.5 feet to a point
in the West line of Wall Street;
Thence Southwardly along said West line 154 feet to a drill hole
on the Southeast corner of Warder Park;
Thence Westwardly along the North line of Court Avenue 358.5 feet to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1.33 acre, more or less.
