A Resolution Authorizing the Disannexation of a One (1)
Acre Tract of Ground.
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City
of jeffersonville, Indiana, to disannex a certain one (1) acre
tract more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, and
WHEREAS, a Petition for Disannexation must be filed with
the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, and
WHEREAS, such petition has been filed by the Mayor of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of jeffersonville that it joins with the Mayor in petitioning
the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of jeffersonville
to disannex the one (1) acre tract, more specifically described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, this __ day of February, 1984.

DESCRIPTION OF A 1.00 ACRE TRACT IN JEFFERSONVILL_
Being a part of the Commons in the City of Jeffe~sg~ville,
Clark County, Indiana and being further described as
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 19 in said City,
same being the Northwest corner o£ Spring Street and Riverside
Drive (formerly Front Street); Thence Southeasterly along the
W=stern side of Spring Street extended 120 feet to the TRUE
P~ACE OF BEGINNING.
Thence continuing Southeasterly along said line expended
156 feet to the low water mark of the Ohio River;
Thence Southwesterly, downstream with said low water mark
280 feet;
Thence Northwesterly and parallel to the Western line of
Spring Street 156 feet;
Thence Northeasterly and parallel to the low water mark
of the Ohio River 280 feet to THE TRUE pLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1.O0 acre, more or less, and being subject
to all easements of record.
