MINUTES
June 3,2026
PRESENT(IN PERSON): Mayor Mike Moore, Andy Crouch City Engineer, Rob Waiz Redevelopment

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch,
and Rob Waiz, sat on the board
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Andy Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from May 27,
2026. Rob Waiz seconded the motion; vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Rob Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Andy Crouch seconded
the motion; vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Hearing none.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Les Merkley—Approval of Resolution clarifying vacation accrual under FMLA
Resolution 2026-R-4 clarifying policy of vacation time accrual while off on FMLA. Handbook
shall say vacation time will not occur if you are not receiving compensation through the City of
Jeffersonville. Andy Crouch makes motion to accept, seconded by Rob Waiz, vote taken, motion
carries 3-0.
2. Les Merkley—Approval of Resolution clarifying accrued PTO/Vacation days at separation
Resolution 2026-R-5 clarifying again the policy of upon separation from City everyone is capped
at six weeks, there are some employees that are grandfathered in for time prior to April 2017. If
you have more than six weeks and are grandfathered in, policy shall read as follows: You will be
paid out upon separation what signed paperwork on April 9, 2017 shows if you are
grandfathered in. This only affects 9 or 10 employees. Rob Waiz makes motion to accept,
seconded by Andy Crouch, vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
3. Kevin Morlan—Approval of Change order#4 street paving project
This is change order#4 for CCMG-2026-1 the repaving of Penn to Graham Street. This is a
project the sewer department has paid a large portion of. Andy Crouch makes a motion to
accept, seconded by Rob Waiz, vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
4. Yvonne Dowd —Approval to accept Highway report for 2025
We have a Highway Report for 2025 completed and just need approval to submit. Andy Crouch
makes motion to accept report, seconded by Rob Waiz, vote taken, motion carries 3-0.

With no further business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:33a.m.
