PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch,
and Rob Waiz, sat on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Andy Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from May 13,
2026. Rob Waiz seconded the motion;vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Rob Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Andy Crouch seconded
the motion; vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Hearing none.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Larry Wallace—3301 Locust Lane hearing
I spoke with contractor yesterday and the Homeowner is currently out of the country but they
did receive service. I am thinking we could postpone for 30 days. Let the record reflect there
was service to new owner, Haqs, LLC at 203 Ashrun Dr. Is there anyone here to represent the
home at 3301 Locust Lane? Ask Les Merkley, Corporation Counsel. Appearing to be no one
here, my recommendation is to table for 30 days,June 24, 2026 @ 9:30 a.m. to follow up on
progress of this property, says Les Merkley. I make that motion, said Rob Waiz, seconded by
Andy Crouch,vote taken, motion passed 3-0.
4 2. Amber Ridings—Approval of special events
Special events committee had an application come before them to approve Claysburg Day
Neighborhood Festival to be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 9:00 a.m.—9:00 p.m. at
Lansden Park. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve, Mr. Waiz seconded motion, vote taken,
motion passed 3-0.

3. Len Ashack—Road Closure—Walnut Street
Need to close Walnut Street from 9th Street to 8th Street beginning May 26, 2026 through July
15, 2026 for main sewer line replacement. Rob Waiz makes motion to approve closure,
seconded by Andy Crouch,vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
