New Business
1. Franklin Square-Kim speaking-Kim gave and update on the franklin square outing for students in 5th
grade to come to Picasso point and enjoy a day out-they no longer have a "field day"so it was
proposed to host them in the art center and Picasso point for a day among the art. Kim will be hosting
this event with them. Nothing is needed at this time for the event-it will be from 10 am till 2pm-on
Friday May 15th-blank journals will be provided to the students to sketch what they see on their art
walk.

Program & Event Planning
1. American 250- continuing planning- community partners to run tents-idea of community
partners to help run tents was discussing. Public Art administrator mentioned that 4 out of the 8
decades were covered- with steamboat museum, library,jasketa cultural center and SOIN
tourism. She is still reaching out for the other decades. Assistance was requested. Poster and
passports for the event are in process of being designed and made by the art administrator- Kat
wang. Those will be done late may and off to printers in June. Music thru the ages band was
booked.
ANYTHING ELSE??
- Discussing of change in plans of fright fair-need to reevaluate what to do due to layout is not
all in the depot- should we continue or not. Or just support and artists and refocus...
o Discussion on no cult classic there was made and maybe just a make and take.
Discussion to continue at next meeting after some brainstorming.
- Volunteers confirmed with commissars for the upcoming student art show. By Kat wang,
public art administer

o Exhibit open April 17-19, and April 24-26 ( 1pm-4pm )
o Craft Club-4/20
o May 15th-Annual Shakespeare in the Park series at Big Four-5pm-8pm
o Cultural Pass kick off- may 30th- location TBA
