MINUTES
April 29,2026
PRESENT(IN PERSON): Mayor Mike Moore, Andy Crouch City Engineer, Rob Waiz Economic

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch,
and Rob Waiz, sat on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Andy Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from April 22,
2026. Rob Waiz seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Rob Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll, Andy Crouch seconded the
motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Hearing none.
NEW BUSINESS:
Paul Northam asked if his item could be moved up on agenda to first. Board agreed to move.
1. Paul Northam-Approval of Little league parade route
Nick Isenberg is over little league and is here to speak on this matter. We are asking for
approval to have the Little league parade on Friday, May 15, 2026 beginning at Crestview to
Park Place to Spring to Court to Graham, and back to Crestview, says Nick Isenberg. Part of Park
Place is shut down and will be shut down at that time, says Len Ashack, Director of Wastewater.
The Police will go out and drive the route and bring findings back for this request, says Scott
McVoy, Chief of Police. Rob Waiz makes motion to table to Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 9:30
a.m., seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0.
2. Christy O'Neil—Approval of dumpster
Todd with Pro4Mance restoration called and requested to place a dumpster at 201 Myrtle
Street for approximately 2 months for fire restoration. Rob Waiz made motion to approve
pending Street Department location approval, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0.
3. Kim Calabro—Approval to attend HR Conference
I am asking permission to attend human resource conference in August, normally Christine
attends but she is not able to attend this year, so I will be attending. Andy Crouch makes
motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0.
4. Brian Smith—Approval of Collateral amendment agreement
I am requesting approval of collateral amendment agreement between the City and First
Merchant Bank regarding totaled vehicle titles. Andy crouch made motion to approve,
seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0.
5. Scott McVoy—Approval of contract with Spectrum
I am requesting approval of contract with Spectrum for desk phones at police station, we
renegotiated the old contract and this will save us $6,500.00 for 2026. Andy Crouch makes
motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0.
6. Scott McVoy—Bid for Chevy Pick up truck
We advertised for bids for a 2025 Chevy 1500 pick up truck, we received one bid, I did receive
one other inquiry but they never followed through with bid. We will open bid now, this bid is
from Coyle Chevrolet, for a 2025 Chevrolet 1500 Pick up truck in the amount of$35,598.50. says
Les Merkley, Corporation Counsel. Rob Waiz makes motion to take under advisement pending
legal review, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
I have nothing.

With no furt er business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:39 a.m.
