MINUTES
April 22,2026

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch,
and Rob Waiz, sat on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Andy Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from April 15,
2026. Rob Waiz seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Rob Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Andy Crouch seconded
the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Hearing none.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Len Ashack—Approval of road closure
I am requesting approval of road closure on East Court Avenue from Penn Street to Graham
Street, beginning Monday, May 4, 2026 to Friday,June 1, 2026 for sewer line replacement.
Closure will allow for local access for residents. There are 28 connections in this area so that is
why such a long closure. Rob Waiz makes motion to approve, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion
carries 3-0.
2. Paul Northam—Approve to hire
We currently have an opening for skilled laborer due to promotion and I am requesting
permission to fill vacancy. Andy Crouch made motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz,
motion carries 3-0.

3. Jeremy Neff—Approval of change order#2
We are requesting approval of change order#2 for Jeffersonville CCMG 2026-1 Paving project,
Eastbrook Boulevard Sidewalk addition. Andy Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by
Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0.
4. Jeremy Neff—Approval of change order#3
We are requesting approval of change order#3 for Jeffersonville CCMG 2026-1 paving project,
milling and paving on Utica Pike between railroad tracks by Brighton Av through Kewanna Drive.
Andy Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0.
5. Michael O'Brien—Award bid to reseal parking lot
I have brought you 3 bids to reseal and restripe City Services complex,the cost of this will be
shared by 5 departments,Vehicle Maintenance, Street Department, Construction, Drainage, and
Sanitation. The bids received are as follows: MAC construction $21,975.00, Libs Paving
$19,862.00, and B&G $15,500.00. Andy Crouch makes motion to accept bids and award to B&G,
seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carried 3-0.
6. Christy O'Neil—Approval to set pod
Judith Vangilder is asking for approval to set pod at 211 E. Riverside Drive beginning Friday, April
24, 2026—Monday, April 27, 2026. Rob Waiz makes motion to approve, seconded by Andy
Crouch, motion carries 3-0.
