PRESENT(VIRTUAL): CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch, and Rob Waiz, sat on the board. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Andy Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from April 8, 2026. Rob Waiz seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Rob Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Andy Crouch seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: Hearing none. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Amber Ridings—Approval of special event applications I am here to request approval for the following events that have been approved by Special Events Committee: Big 4 Bash @ Big 4 Station—October 23, 2026—October 24, 2026, 1:00 p.m.—11:00 pm. They will have a wrestling/music event and will have a partial road closure. Jeffersonville Main Street Signature Events—Chocolate Lovers Stroll, Concerts in the park, Farmer's market, 4th of July parade, and wine walk and shop. Bourbon Fest @ Big 4 station by Union Game yard—June 13, 2025, 7:00 pm—8:30 pm. Rollin' on the River Beer Festival 5K @ Big 4 Station—May 30, 2026, 2:00 pm—7:00 pm. Kentucky Derby Festival 5K @ Big 4 station-April 24, 2026, 7:00 pm—8:30 pm There will be a partial road closure for Big 4 Bash and total road closure for Bourbon Fest. Again, the applications were approved at Special Events committee. Moving forward we will only need to approve an event if there is a road closure, says Les Merkley. Andy Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0. 2. Scott McVoy—Resolution to transfer vehicle I am here to request approval of resolution 2026-R-4,transferring 2016 Dodge Durango to Jeffersonville Building Commissioner's office from Jeffersonville Police Department. This is a vehicle we no longer use. Rob Waiz makes motion to approve, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0. 3. Chad Reischl—Approval for in-house training Larry Wallace and I are asking for approval to obtain in-house training in May with BS&A due to going to the software for permitting. We do have money in our budget. Andy Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0. 4. Josh Darby—Awarding bid for Meigs and Mechanic Sidewalk replacement project We opened bids last week, and the lowest compliant bid was Allstar paving at$408,186.00, we are requesting approval to accept. The entire project is covered by HUD entitlement funding grant, says Delynn Campbell, Grant writer. Rob Waiz makes motion to accept bid, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0. 5. Scott McVoy—Approval for officers to attend seminars/schools from May—October 2026 Some of the schools are for recertifications, some are BS&A conference, etc. Also, some of the training is free to attend but we have to pay for travel expenses. We do have the money in our budget. (List of trainings/seminars/schools in public record). Andy Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Rob Waiz, motion carries 3-0. 6. Andy Crouch—Approval of all way stop sign at intersection of Herb Lewis and Parkland Trail Right now it is a 3 way stop and we are wanting to make it a 4 way right there. Rob Waiz makes motion to approve, seconded by Andy Crouch, motion carries 3-0.
