PRESENT(VIRTUAL): Katie Sutter Pro Media. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch, and Rob Waiz, sat on the board. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from April 1, 2026. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; roll call vote taken, motion passed, 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: Hearing none. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Kristie Ashcraft—Approval of contract with Tri County Animal Control, LLC I am requesting approval of renewal contract with Tri County Animal Control, LLC for emergency calls for animal control.This is same pricing as last year, and we have money in our budget. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Mr. Waiz, motion carries 3-0. 2. Amber Ridings—Approval to hire monitors for Envision Center& Fieldhouse I am requesting approval to hire monitors for Envision Center& Fieldhouse. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Mr. Waiz, vote taken, motion carries 3-0. 3. Andy Crouch—Request road closure at New Chapel and Utica Sellersburg Road We have Stumler Excavating here requesting a lane closure on New Chapel Rd at Utica Sellersburg Rd. This is for tie in of new Trophy Ridge subdivision. Is there a way this could be done say 9:00 a.m.—3:15 p.m. on Friday, and work on Saturday as well? Asks Police Chief S McVoy. We can if we have to, if I can get concrete, says Travis from Stumler excavating. Mr. Waiz makes motion to approve closure subject to school being notified, and also if work can be done on Saturday and after rush hour on Friday it needs to be. Seconded by Mr. Crouch, motion carries 3-0. 4. Scott McVoy- bids We advertised for bids for new ford Explorers, this is what we received and I am submitting for legal review.
