REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 10,2026
The Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission was held on March 10,2026,at 5:00 P.M. in the Council
Chambers, First Floor,500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. Those present were President
Jeremy Snelling,Scott Aldridge, Mark Foster,Attorney Robert Bottorff and Patty Rush. Absent was James Polk
and Joshua Lowery.
Invocation was given by Jeremy Snelling
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
President Snelling presented the Minutes from February 10,2026,asking if there were any
corrections,questions,or comments. Mr. Foster made a motion to approve the Minutes as presented and
seconded by Mr.Aldridge. Voted 3-0
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Chief Michael McVoy addressed the Commission regarding certifying the inexperienced officer's list.
This is the list of names to be certified and they are as follows:
1. Alex C. Bland
2. MacKenzie McCutcheon
3. Jackson Campbell
4. Gage Kesling
5. Tabarius Peterson
6. Ethan Schott
7. Jordan Lyons
8. Aidan Finnegan
9. Levy Glass
10. Ryan Johnson
Mr.Aldridge made a motion to certify the inexperience officer's list and seconded by Mr. Foster. Voted 3-0
Chief McVoy requested to schedule interviews on March 19,2026,for three lateral transfers. It was
decided to have them completed on March 19,2026,at 6:00 P.M.at the Jeffersonville Police Department.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
CLAIMS:
President Snelling presented from Public Safety LLC, Invoice#CAR2026.3 in the amount of$3,500.
Mr.Aldridge made a motion to approve the Invoice as presented and seconded by Mr. Foster. Voted 3-0
President Snelling presented Invoice#2026-03 from Patty Rush in the amount of$100.00. Mr.
Aldridge made a motion to approve the Invoice as presented and seconded by Mr. Foster. Voted 3-0

ADJOURNMENT:
Mr.Aldridge made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 P.M.and seconded by Mr.Foster. Our next
meeting will be held on April 14,2026,at 5:00 P.M.
