TASK ORDER NO. 2
In accordance with the General Services Agreement executed December 20, 2023 between the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, acting by and through its proper officials (OWNER), and
Lochmueller Group, Inc. (CONSULTANT), this TASK ORDER is the written authorization to the
CONSULTANT to provide the work described herein, in accordance with the attached schedule,
and fee, dated this day of , 2026.
SERVICES: The SERVICES to be performed under this TASK ORDER shall be as described in
Attachment "A", Section "A" of this TASK ORDER. CONSULTANT shall furnish all labor,
materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for and incident to the
performance of the services. CONSULTANT represents that it has thoroughly reviewed the
SERVICES and the General Services Agreement and that it accepts the SERVICES and the
conditions under which the SERVICES are to be performed.
OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES: The OWNER responsibilities shall be as set forth in Attachment "A",
Section "B" of this TASK ORDER.
SCHEDULE:The Schedule shall be set forth in Attachment "A", Section "C" of this TASK ORDER.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payments to the CONSULTANT shall be as described in Attachment "A", Section
"D" of this TASK ORDER.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The terms and conditions of the General Services Agreement referenced
above shall apply to this TASK ORDER. This TASK ORDER incorporates all of the terms and
conditions required to be included in it by the General Services Agreement.

SECTION A— PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
Project Description:
The project consists of investigating the OWNER's concerns regarding the intersection of
Hamburg Pike and Crums Lane. Reportedly, residents are unable to exit their neighborhood
onto Hamburg Pike due to insufficient breaks in oncoming traffic.
The study intersections include Hamburg Pike at the YMCA and at Crums Ln. The peak periods
will be the morning commuter (7-9 AM) and the afternoon commuter (4-6 PM).
Scope of Services
1.0 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION
Analyze the current traffic conditions at Hamburg Pike at the YMCA and at Crums Lane.
The peak periods to analyze include the morning commuter (7-9 AM) and afternoon
commuter (4-6 PM).
1.1 Request available information from the OWNER including traffic counts, crash
data and speed data at the study intersection.
1.2 Perform a site visit to document existing geometry, lane configurations, traffic
operations and traffic control at the study intersections. Observe existing traffic
flows and queuing at the study intersections during the peak periods.
1.3 Perform a traffic signal and stop sign warrant analysis at the study intersections.
1.4 Recommend traffic operation improvements based on the traffic analysis
performed. Provide up to three (3) alternatives.
1.5 Prepare a brief technical memorandum summarizing findings and conclusions.
1.6 Prepare and participate in up to one (1) virtual meeting with the OWNER to
present findings.
2.0 SERVICES NOT BEING PROVIDED UNDER THIS TASK ORDER
Any services not specifically included above are not included in CONSULTANT's Scope of
Services being provided under this TASK ORDER. The Services not being provided under
this TASK ORDER include, but are not limited to, the following:
2.1 Traffic counts
2.2 Safety analysis
2.3 Crash history review
2.4 Future year traffic forecasting
2.5 Traffic simulation modeling
2.6 Traffic signal timing implementations
2.7 Design services
2.8 Services during construction
2.9 Field surveys or utility investigations.

SECTION B—OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
1.0 Provide CONSULTANT peak period turning movement counts at the study intersections
SECTION C—SCHEDULE
CONSULTANT shall promptly commence SERVICES upon receipt of a notice to proceed and shall
complete SERVICES in accordance with the schedule mutually agreed upon by both parties.
SECTION D—PAYMENT TERMS
1.0 AMOUNT OF PAYMENT
1.1 The CONSULTANT shall receive payment for SERVICES under Attachment "A",
Section "A", of this TASK ORDER on a lump sum basis in the amount of Two
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) unless a modification to this TASK
ORDER is made in writing by both parties.
