1. Art Center Updates
• Mold Remediation Completed
o Mold discovered and professionally remediated
o Total cost: $480
o Wall rebuilt using Operational Grant funds
• New Window & Door Installation
o Ordered and scheduled for installation on 2/9/26- operational grant money used for
repairs
• NO comments—noted
2. Program & Event Planning
• Steamboat Nights—Ongoing Planning
• American 250 Grant Update

3. Fright Fair 2026— Initial Brainstorming
• Table till March-
4. Student Art Show—Updates
• Decide on student gift (idea: ice-cream cup voucher for local shop; pending confirmation)
• Cost to be covered by JPA
• Budget: $2,000 total
• Banner: $100 needed due to school name changes
• Walls: Use existing walls this year; plan replacements in 2027
UPCOMING
o Art Center clean up-December and January/feb/beginning of march
o Cool Mountain- Valentine's Day event- 2/14
o Art after hours: 2/25-
o Craft club: 2/23
o Students form Scottsburg visited 2/11-
o One southern Indiana- Next Gen program for high schoolers to use art center for
meetings: 2/17, 2/24-
Commissioner Comments:
Commissioner Freeman asked about what the READI 1 grant was and City Engineer Andy Crouch
explained more about it and the potential Lilly grant and reimbursement grant
