PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
Mayor, Mike Moore
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch
and Rob Waiz served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from February 18,
2026, Ms. Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nothing at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Scott McVoy—Approval to attend training in Hoover,Alabama
We are requesting approval for Corporal Cody Richardson to attend BCERT training in Hoover,
Alabama. This is for 5 weeks of training for digital forensics, and the City only pays for gas to get
there and back. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve request, seconded by Mr. Waiz, roll call
vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
2. Kevin Morlan—Approval to attend Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN
I am requesting approval for 4 street/sanitation department employees to attend the Work
Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN. March 11 & March 12,2026. Mr. Crouch makes motion to
approve request, seconded by Mr. Waiz, roll call vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
3. Michael O'Brien—Approval to attend Work Truck show in Indianapolis, IN
I am requesting approval for 5 vehicle maintenance employees, including myself, to attend the
Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN. March 10th & 12th, 2026. 2 will be coming on Tuesday, 2
will be coming on Wednesday, and me for all days. Mr. Waiz make motion to approve request,
seconded by Mr. Crouch, roll call vote taken, motion carries 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
I have nothing at this time, states Les Merkley, Corporate Counsel.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:34 a.m.
