MINUTES
January 28, 2026

CALL TO ORDER Rob Waiz Redevelopment Director called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the
Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's
Website. Clark Miles and Andy Crouch served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from January 21
2026, Ms. Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nothing at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Les Merkley/Len Ashack—Perpetual easement along Hamburg Pike
Before you is an easement along Hamburg Pike, alongside the rock quarry's entrance, to
Schaefer Real Estate for sanitary sewer. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded by Mr.
Miles, motion carries 3-0.
2. Clark Miles—Approval to purchase toters
I am requesting approval to purchase 364 toters in the amount of$26,727.19. This is to keep
our stock for the citizens. Mr. Crouch made motion to approve purchase, seconded by Mr.
Miles, motion carries 3-0.
3. Mike McCutcheon—Renewal contract with J&J Lawncare
We are requesting approval of renewal contract between the Jeffersonville Fire Department and
Bobby Jones with J&J Lawncare. There is no increase in pricing from last year. Mr. Crouch
makes motion to approve contract renewal, seconded by Mr. Miles, motion carries 3-0.
4. Chad Reischl—Approval to attend APA National Planning Conference
I am asking for approval to attend the APA National Planning Conference in Detroit on April 25th
2026 to April 28, 2026. This is one of the biggest conferences. Mr. Crouch makes motion to
approve, seconded by Mr. Miles, motion carries 3-0.
5. Heather Metcalf—Renawal of contract with CBS for copier/printer in Finance
I am requesting approval of renewal agreement between City of Jeff Finance Department and
CBS for copier/printers. Price went up about$10.00 per printer and I do have the money in my
budget. Mr. Crouch made motion to approve renewal, seconded by Mr. Miles, motion carries 3-
0.
6. Matt Dyer—Approval of contract with AT&T
AT&T is doing away with the copper lines so this puts us in contract with the new lines and
services, and also lowers the monthly costs. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve contract,
seconded by Mr. Miles, motion carries 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
I have nothing at this time, states Les Merkley, Corporate Counsel.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:35 a.m.
