MINUTES
October 22, 2025

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Andy Crouch City Engineer called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's
Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website.
Amy Huffman and Andy Crouch served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the minutes from October 15,
2025, Ms. Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the payroll. Ms. Huffman seconded
the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nothing at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Josh Lynch—Approval of contract with Norse Tactical
We are requesting approval of training contract with Norse tactical and Jeffersonville Police
Department, this is a contract we have had for years but have now restructured to save
$25,000.00 per year. Mr. Miles made motion to approve contract, seconded by Ms. Huffman,
motion carries 3-0.
2. Scott McVoy—Request for approval to hire administrative assistant
Request for approval to hire a new administrative assistant for police department, this is not a
new position just a position that has been open for a while now. Mr. Miles makes motion to
approve hire, seconded by Ms. Huffman, motion carries 3-0.
3. Amber Ridings—Request for approval for travel
We are requesting approval for three parks employees to attend IPRA conference, November
11-13 in Muncie, Indiana. We do have money in our budget. Mr. Miles makes motion to
approve, seconded by Ms. Huffman, motion carries 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
I have nothing at this time, states Les Merkley, Corporate Counsel.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no f - business, 4 Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:32 a.m.
