Contract
I. As per our agreement made this 9th day of October 2025, I, as representative of Elizabeth
Carter(Parks Authority Board President) do agree to contract the services of The Juice Box
Heroes for the dates of June 5`h 2026.
Said services to be Musical Entertainment for a period of 2 hours per date with no break. From
8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Time subject to change).
II. In return for said services, Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority Board President) agrees to pay
the sum of$7,000 to the Representative of The Juice Box Heroes as signed below. Elizabeth
Carter(Parks Authority Board President) agrees to neither discuss,nor disclose amount of
payment with anyone other than Signatory Band Representative.
III. The Juice Box Heroes agree to furnish all equipment necessary to facilitate each
performance. (i.e. Musical instruments, sound equipment, etc.), unless a professional grade
sound system is permanently installed at venue. Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority Board
President) agrees to provide a proper, safe, easily accessible, sufficiently powered, area(stage or
platform) for each performance. In addition, The Juice Box Heroes will require the following
amenities: 3 separate 20 AMP outlets
IV. This agreement may be revoked only by written notice from either Signing Party no less than
90 (ninety) days prior to scheduled performance, or by reason of inclement weather, or bonafide
emergency. In the event of such emergency or weather-related problem,both Parties agree to
negotiate another performance date acceptable to all. Cancelation by Elizabeth Carter(Parks
Authority Board President)unless weather related will result in the loss of deposit. Cancelation
by The Juice Box Heroes will result in the return of deposit to Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority
Board President) .
In witness thereof, both Parties do hereby set their hand and seal on the date as set
above.

Ref. Par. II. Due to problems in the past, and in the interest of good will,we request that payment
be made by either cash or check, and that at least 25%of total sum be paid within 10 mailing
days after Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority Board President) has received the contract.
Exceptions to this requirement will be decided by Band Representative. We request payment in
full prior to the event. If paying by check we request it a week in advance. If paying by cash we
request it upon arrival to the performance. Deposits will be non-refundable 15 days prior to the
event.
*We sincerely request that Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority Board President) adhere strictly to
this clause. The reason for this clause is based on the fact that any amount of compensation
agreed on between Elizabeth Carter(Parks Authority Board President) shall not be construed as a
"per member" basis. The Juice Box Heroes acts as "Contractor", and shall be responsible for
paying any "Sub Contractors" (i.e. band members). It will be at our discretion as to how many
"sub-contractors" we feel we need for the performance.
Ref. Par. III. The Juice Box Heroes is a "self-contained" unit, and normally does not require any
additional equipment or supplies. We are willing to use "house" sound systems as long as they
meet our requirements. We do not need smoke machines, flashing lights, nor extra "props". We
do require a well-built, safe, secure, lighted, easily accessible, stage or platform.Normal

"amenities" would be free soft drinks for band members and spouses, and at least 6 clean, decent
hotel rooms if travel distance is a factor. These can be negotiated at time of contract discussion.
Ref. Par. IV. This contract,when signed by both parties, shall be considered legally binding. The
preferred method of written notification of cancellation should be by registered mail. Any
agreement not canceled by written notice prior to the allotted 90 days, shall be considered still in
effect and should be honored. As for weather related or bonafide emergency situations, every
attempt should be mad to agree on another perf rmance date.
