REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 2, 2025
The Jeffersonville Drainage Board was held on September 2, 2025, at 5:30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. President Tim Franklin called
the meeting to order with the following in attendance:

APPROVAL OF CLAIMS:
President Franklin presented the Claims in the amount of$12,101.37, asking if there were any
questions or comments. Mr. Ketenbrink made a motion to approve the Claims as presented and
seconded by Mr. Sariscsany.Voted as follows:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
President Franklin presented the Minutes from August 19, 2025, asking if there were any
questions, comments, or corrections. Mr. Frazier made a motion to approve the Minutes as presented
and seconded by Mr. Lander. Voted as follows:

OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Daniel Hartman with Paul Primavera &Associates addressed the Board regarding DaSilva Farms
located at 5102 Charlestown Pike, Jeffersonville, Indiana. This will consist of 5 condos and less than on
acre. The homes will be provided access from DaSilva Drive to all lots. City Engineer had slide
presentation for all member to view. Emergency overflow will drain to the street and overlap the street

grate to the existing swale on the southeast side of the project. City Engineer had no issues but required
to replace the 6" outlet pipe with a 12" pipe and utilize a 6" orifice plate on the detention outlet,
otherwise, he has no issues with these plans. Mr. Guepe made a motion to approve the plans as
presented along with the changes requested by City Engineer Crouch and seconded by Mr. Ketenbrink.

Chad Gibson with Lochmueller Group addressed the Board regarding Mill Creek Erosion
Stabilization Contract. The parties hereto agree that Consultant shall provide the services and
documents hereinafter described in relations to the following described project. Proposed regarding
and stabilizing ditch banks to stop erosion issues. A slide presentation was shown to the Board by City
Engineer Crouch for clarification on this project. The cost will be $58,100 for stopping erosion at this
time and will have designs, permitting and plans then it will be bided out for construction. This will be
billed monthly. Mr. Ketenbrink made a motion to submit to the Sewer Board for final approval and
seconded by Mr. Frazier. Voted as follows:

Ed Siewert advised the Board that the River Sweep will be held on September 13, 2025 from
9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Martin Anthony Jr. at 2207 Liberty Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. He addressed the Board
regarding the property behind his lot and several others, which isn't useful for anything.The city has
been mowing and taking care of this vacant piece of property which is an easement and a detention
basin is located. This issue has came before the Board in the past years with same problem. Attorney
Bottorff is going to conduct some research and this item will be place on the agenda for September 16,
2025 meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Guepe made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 P.M. and seconded by Mr. Frazier.
