PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch
and Rob Waiz served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from July 9, 2025.
Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Les Merkley/Larry Wallace/Bing Lovan—Follow up on 807 Fulton St.
New owner Gino Roland is present. Les Merkley—I believe we need to table this matter for 30
days and have new owner, Gino Roland communicate with Code Enforcement to address some
outstanding issues while waiting on closing. Mr. Crouch makes motion to table matter for 30
days and have Mr. Roland work with code enforcement during that time, seconded by Mr. Waiz,
motion passed 3-0. Mr. Roland you will have to appear before this board again on Wednesday,
August 20, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., says Les Merkley, Corporation Counsel. Yes, I understand, says
Mr. Roland.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Clark Miles—Approval to purchase 2 toter lifts.
I have 2 quotes, one from Municipal Equipment for$7,604.36 and one for Best Equipment for
$8,000.00. I would like to purchase from Municipal Equipment due to quote being the cheaper
4 of two. Mr. Waiz makes motion to approve purchasing 2 toter lifts from Municipal Equipment in
amount of$7,604.36, seconded by Mr. Crouch, motion passed 3-0.

2. Scott McVoy—Approval of travel &training for Detectives
We are requesting approval for 2 Jeffersonville Police Detectives to attend a Crimes against
children training in Dallas,TX. We do have money in our training budget. Mr. Crouch makes
motion to allow travel and training, seconded by Mr. Waiz, motion passed 3-0.
3. Les Merkley—Designation of 2 hour parking limit in Falls Landing
To ensure there is adequate parking in this area when City has events we would like to make Falls
Landing Michigan Street,the one way area that butts up to Falls Landing, and inside Picasso
Pointe to all be 2 hour parking Monday—Friday. Mr. Crouch makes motion to approve, seconded
by Mr. Waiz, motion passed 3-0.
4. Paul Northam—Approval to hire vacant position at Envision Center
We are needing to fill our vacant position as monitor of Envision Center. This is Calvin
Kavanaugh's position. Mr. Crouch made motion to approve hiring, seconded by Mr. Waiz,
motion passed 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
Nothing at this time.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no fu er business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:39 a.m.
