JEFFERSONVILLE POLICE MERIT COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING JUNE 10, 2025 The Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission was held on June 10, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. President Jeremy Snelling called the meeting to order with the following in attendance: President Jeremy Snelling, Buddy Parker, Scott Aldridge,James Polk, Attorney Robert Bottorff and Patty Rush. Absent was Vice-President Robert Campbell. Invocation was given by President Jeremy Snelling APPROVAL OF MINUTES: President Snelling presented the Minutes from May 13, 2025, asking if there were any comments, questions, or corrections. Mr. Parker made a motion to approve the Minutes as Votedr pr4-esented and seconded by Mr. Aldridge. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: Assistant Chief McVoy requested approval to contact Amy Emerson regarding testing for new inexperienced officers. This will be for 2 years and a later date will be announced for the physical. Mr. Polk made a motion for Assistant Chief McVoy to proceed with contacting Ms. Emerson and seconded by Mr. Parker. Voted Assistant Chief McVoy advised that oral interviews will be conducted sometime in mid to late August. CLAIMS: President Snelling presented Invoice #2025-06 from Patty Rush in the amount of$100.00. Mr. Polk made a motion to approve the Invoice as presented and seconded by Mr. Parker. Voted 4-0 President Snelling presented Invoice #00929 from Attorney Robert Bottorff in the amount of $750.00 for July 20, 2025. Mr. Parker made a motion to approve the Invoice as presented votes d seconded by Mr. Aldridge. 4-0 ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Polk made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:55 P.M. and seconded by Mr. Aldridge.
