MINUTES
June 11,2025

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Rob Waiz and
Clark Miles served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the minutes from June 4, 2025.
Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Miles seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Larry Wallace—Hearing on 807Fulton Street,John A. Minor—Tabled 5/28/2025
I have not received any information from Mr. Minor, last he said he was trying to get title work, I
would like to table this until Les Merkley is able to be here. Mr. Miles makes motion to table
until June 25, 2025, seconded by Mr. Waiz, motion passed 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Amber Ridings—Approval of Special Events—Annual Muster
This event has went through and received approval from our special events committee. Annual
Muster at Vintage Fire Museum on September 20, 2025. Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. and
pumping will be at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Waiz makes motion to approve Annual Muster, seconded by
Mr. Miles, motion passed 3-0
2. Amber Ridings—Approval of Special Events—Jeff Kick Back
This event has went through and received approval from our special events committee for Jeff
Kick-back at Oglesby Park, July 19, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. —5:00 p.m. Mr. Waiz made motion to
approve Jeff Kick back, seconded by Mr. Miles, motion passed 3-0
3. Amber Ridings—Approval of Special Events—A Day to Remember
This event has went through and received approval from our special events committee for A Day
to Remember at 422 Spring Street,June 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They want to
showcase their event space and will be having an outdoor wedding with parking in LifeSprings
lot, with their approval. Mr. Waiz made motion to approve A Day to Remember event,
seconded by Mr. Miles, motion passed 3-0.
ATTORNEYS REPORT:
Mr. Merkley was not present
ADJOURNMENT:
With no f rther business, Mr. Miles made a motion to adjourn at 9:34 a.m.
