HomeMy WebLinkAboutJBA May 13, 2025 JEFFERSONVILLE BUILDING AUTHORITY MINUTES May 13, 2025 Larry Wallace called the regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building Authority to order on May 13, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Building Commissioner's Conference Room on the second floor,Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court. Members present: Alan Conner, Bill Fry, Greg Miller. Absent, Mayor Mike Moore. Also,present Mary Frey, Administrative Assistant. MINUTES Alan Conner motioned to approve the April 8, 2025, minutes, seconded by Bill Fry, and approved unanimously. EXPENDITURE REPORT Bill Fry motioned to accept the April 2025 revenue and expenditure reports as presented, seconded by Alan Conner, and approved unanimously. OLD BUSINESS None New Business Larry stated that motors and pumps for the cooling tower are being rebuilt. The building will have a spare pump and motor for a backup if needed. The number one loop pump sounds like a bearing is going out. Pump one has been shut down and will be rebuilt. The motor will also be rebuilt. Larry Wallace presented a proposal from Questec to remove and replace the water source heat pump in the Mayor's office area.The proposal is for$28,362.00 and was approved at the Board of Public Works meeting on May 7, 2025. Alan Conner made a motion to approve, seconded by Bill Fry, and approved unanimously. Larry Wallace made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bill Fry. The next meeting date is June 10, 2025.
