HomeMy WebLinkAboutJDB May 6, 2025 JEFFERSONVILLE DRAINAGE BOARD REGULAR MEETING MAY 6, 2025 The Jeffersonville Drainage Board was held on May 6, 2025, at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. Vice-President Arthur Guepe called the meeting to order with the following in attendance: BOARD MEMBERS: STAFF: Dale Sariscsany Andy Crouch Arthur Guepe Ed Siewert Greg Lander Jon Bischof John Ketenbrink Robert Bottorff, Attorney Albert Frazier Patty Rush Maxwell Malone Absent were Tim Franklin, Shane Calkin and Adam Ross APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: Vice-President Guepe presented the Claims in the amount of$20,032.78, asking if there were any questions or comments. Mr. Ketenbrink made a motion to approval the Claims as presented and seconded by Mr. Malone. Motion approved unanimously APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Vice-President Guepe presented the Minutes from April 15, 2025, asking if there were any comments, questions, or corrections. Mr. Sariscsany made a motion to approve the Minutes as presented and seconded by Mr. Lander. Motion approved unanimously OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: Arbor Crossing, Section 2 was on the Agenda, but has now been rescheduled until the May 20th meeting. Chad James with HWC Engineering addressed the Board regarding River Ridge Patrol Road. This site is at the Northeast corner of River ridge Parkway and Patrol Road,Jeffersonville-Charlestown Road. They are putting in a new road and installing two detention basins on site. They have followed all requirements for the Drainage Ordinance. Any further projects will have to return before the Board for approval. Motion approved unanimously Walnut Ridge Cemetery was on the Agenda, but will be rescheduled until the May 20th meeting. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None REPORTS: City Engineer Crouch advised that 8th and Howard invoice will be presented on our next meeting claims for repairs to the pipes by O'Mara. City Engineer Crouch advised that at Lottie Oglesby Park on Ewing Lane will be checked on a large pipe by Dan Christiani Excavating Company. City Engineer Crouch and Jon Bischof checked out the residence at 4214 Parliament Court regarding water problem and easement. This was regarding Gary Holtgrefe's property after his attendance as our last meeting. City will clear out the easement to the south so his lot will drain. Mr. Holtgrefe will remove his shed to assist with the problem. ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Lander made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:50 P.M.and seconded by Mr. Ketenbrink.
