PRESENT(VIRTUAL): CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch and Rob Waiz served on the board. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from January 15, 2025. Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 1. Paul Northam-Request for approval of 2 special events applications as follows: • Bicentennial of Lafayette Return to America on May 12, 2025 at Big Four Station Park • Leprechaun Run on March 11, 2025 on Riverside Drive Mr. Northam advised these were approved at the last Special Events Committee. Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the events. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. 2. Scott McVoy-Request for approval of consulting contract between the Police Department and Parker Public Affairs, LLC— Assistant Chief McVoy advised this was a renewal contract for public information officer and they do have the money in their budget. Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the contract. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
