MINUTES
September 11,2024

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's
Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website.
Andy Crouch and Rob Waiz served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from September 4,
2024. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Paul Northam- Request for approval of special events application for the following event:
• St. Augustine Church Octoberfest on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 3:00 pm to
10:00 pm at 315 East Chestnut Street—
Mr. Northam advised this had went before the Special Events Committee and was approved and
will be the third year they have held this event.
Mr. Waiz made a motion to approve the application and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion;
motion passed, 3-0.
2. Len Ashack-Request for approval of lane closure of the southbound lane of Utica Pike starting
on September 16, 2024 to September 19, 2024 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for the
adjustment of the manhole castings to eliminate the manholes that have settled. The closure
will be from 3105 Utica Pike to 3309 Utica Pike.— Mr. Ashack advised they will be working on
manholes on Utica Pike, 8 total over 4 days. The road will not be closed, it will just be down to
one lane in various spots from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. Mayor Moore asked if it would be
possible to start after 8:30 am and Mr. Ashack advised by the time they arrived and set
everything up it would be around 8:30 before they started.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the closure and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion
passed, 3-0.
3. Matt Dyer—Request for approval of disposal of assets/recycling list for IT Department— Mr.
Dyer said this request is to recycle assets that need to be disposed of and remove these items
from their inventory.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the disposal of assets/recycling list and Mr. Waiz
seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
